A. V. Marraccini’s debut book, WE THE PARASITES, is coming Autumn 2022

This past Friday, art historian, essayist, critic, and Firmament columnist A. V. Marraccini was awarded a 2021-2022 Emerging Critics fellowship by the National Book Critics Circle. Piggybacking on this exciting news, we are happy to share that Sublunary Editions will be publishing Marraccini’s book-length debut, We the Parasites, an essay on inhabiting other bodies through criticism, of the queerness and eroticism at the core of knowledge, of Centaurs, foxes, razor blades, and distant loves.

We the Parasites arrives in Autumn 2022. We’ll have more information closer to the new year, but you can hear A. V. Marraccini read from the book this coming Friday, July 9 at our Summer Reading event, which also features S. D. Chrostowska, Ellen Dillon, and Douglas Luman.
